This blog is under construction and will be running shortley. The blog is set up for those that wish to create tudor style clothing from Henry VII to Elizabeth I with instructions from my instructions on pattern designing. It is quite possible that these the techniques mention may not neccessary be the way it was constructed back in this period and that the designs that I am showing instructions on are based on using mundane fashion designing techniques that I Christiana have learned in the 1990s.

About Me

This web blog is instructions on creating Tudor style clothing, and may contain designs for earlier clothing designs by Christiana Elizabeth Constable - magister Guild of the Vestiarium Guild (Clothiers Guild) which is a guild under the Arch Duchy of Connacht (Adrian Empire). Her level within the guild is known as Sartor tailor - which means Master tailor.

The vestiarium Guild founded by Lady Christiana Elizabeth Constable received assent from the Arch Duchy of Connacht for formation - January 2012.

Lady Christiana Elizabeth Constable is the medieval play name for B.O'Neill who's is has aMedieval persona that is based from the Tudor Era, as a wealthy woman of means, and thus pretains the showing through her many costumes that she has designed for the period although some may pre-date the Tudor era so that she can be confortable at different Adrain Empire (Arch Duchy of Connacht events). In mundane life from the early 1990s Christiana took a fashion designing course and has participated in a Canadian wide contest in fashion designing where she created a wedding collection.
Lady Christiana is a life member of the Adrian Empire and was a member of the SCA from 2005 to Jan 2012 where she acquired skills in during research on costuming and some of the techniques in making the same. Christiana has instructed in both slow fibre and costuming techniques from 2008 and still instructs those that are interested in creating costuming.

She currently designs Tudor period clothing using mundane pattern designing techniques to closely similate the Tudor Era, but also to be comfortable as the Tudor era was near the beginning of creating tailor fitted clothing.

Through this web blog, and with updates from time to time, one should be able to draw a pattern and thus be able to transfer the pattern to cloth if one follows the instructions carefully.
